Based on the reactions from the internet community to date, D&D 4E will either be the Second Coming or the destruction of the entire RPG community. My reactions to the most common criticisms:

This is in response to a blog post by John Wick (via Declassified). The first chief premise is that D&D 4E will not be a role-playing game, at least insofar as it does not fit his definition of a role-playing game:
A roleplaying game is a game in which the players are rewarded for making [...]
It appears as though this game has been around for quite some time, but I just found it through one of my daily blogs.
