Gallery is up
After dabbling and tweaking the Gallery software, I’ve managed to get it worked into my site design and more-or-less functional. It does have some peculiarities, in that I had to edit 8 files with exactly the same changes in order to get the structure I wanted, and I had to make some tweaks to the PHP code itself in order to make things look right. I assume most of these little pecadillos will be resolved in the upcoming Gallery v2, but I wasn’t willing to wait, nor was I ready to put Beta software online.
For those less interested in the technical details, I’ve included a gallery on the newest addition to the Horn family: Sir Strictly Ornamental, a.k.a. Ditto. He’s a pretty adorable ball of fluff at the moment, so take a peek.
